I’ve Got The Blues

March 1, 2016 · 2 Comments

Workwear Plus Size

Tuesday, what I call Monday’s petty stepsister. Sometimes working on a Tuesday is tough, even when you’ve finally gotten over the fact that the weekend is over. It’s like reality sets in for the entire world that it’s back to business. Do not despair my fellow fashionistas! I’ve got the perfect remedy to those blues in the form of this adorable wiggle dress from Unique Vintage.

Dress: c/o Unique Vintage Purse & Belt: Banana Republic (Similar Clutch) Shoes: Steve Madden

It can be really difficult finding workwear for a curvy figure, so I rejoiced when I saw this super stylish piece. It gives off an ‘I mean business’, but also an ‘I do it fashionably’ vibe. The goal with workwear is to always keep it professional and cute. We don’t need any of those ‘oh,girl no’ looks.

What I love most about this dress is its versatility. It’s important to think about how much use can get out of an item when you are purchasing quality garments. So not only is this dress perfect for the workplace, it can also be dressed up for a nice dinner date with a cute pair of heels or dressed down with flats for a day of shopping with the girls. Stay tuned for one more look featuring Unique Vintage coming up this week and also take a look at more of their vintage dresses! In the meantime, let me know what you think in the comments:)

Peace & Love,

Lo

    You look spectacular- as usual!
How was the sizing on this? It looks like I’m between sizes in the hips and bust. What do you think: should I go up or down?

Thanks so much!! It’s was a fitted dress for me at the hips so I would go larger if you’re more pear shaped like me and just get the top portion taken in if need be 🙂
